2022
2022 saw over 12,000 people in attendance and it was so refreshing to finally be out of restrictions and lockdowns for good! We held the event at Stanford Hall where we hosted a mini rave in the woods and also had a lake for people to take a dip in, which was a good job as it was the hottest Vegan Camp Out yet (reaching temperatures as high as 34 degrees!). We had over 50 food vendors serve at the event. Speakers and artists such as Earthling Ed, Evanna Lynch, Simon Amstell, Lucy Watson, JME Gaz Oakley, Bimini Bon-Boulash and many others spoke or performed at the festival!
2021
2021 was a sell-out event seeing 11,750 people attend from almost 40 countries around the world. We had the most food vendors we've ever had (45!) and an incredible line-up which included Russell Brand, BOSH!, Chris Packham, Joey Carbstrong, Benjamin Zephaniah, P Money, Cosmic Skeptic and more! This was our last year at Newark Showground and announced Stanford Hall as the new venue for the 2022 event!
2019
2019 was again our biggest festival yet, with nearly 7,500 people coming from over 40 countries! We had an impressive line-up that included Earthling Ed, Matt Pritchard, Shikari Sound System, Akala and many more.
2018
For 2018 we took it to the next level, again, and moved venue for the third year in a row in order to increase our capacity. We also sold out in advance for the third year. We saw over 5,000 people attend from over 30 countries around the world, and had a fantastic line-up including Simon Amstell, JME, Macka B, Neal Barnard, Melanie Joy, Heather Mills and many more!
2017
For 2017 we knew we had to go big, and we did just that. We got a brand new venue, invited some of the world's most influential speakers, had activism workshops, and over 2,700 people in attendance! People flew from over 30 countries around the world to come to the event, it was truly a world first!
2016
We only had a few months to sort 2016, but over 400 people turned up from all around the country. There were no talks, no stalls, just 400 loud (and a few drunk) vegans in a field with one food vendor! It was a chance for people who had only spoken to each other online to finally meet in person. And we danced on the field until 2am with an outdoor DJ. It was a beautiful weekend, and everyone was very sad when they had to leave.
