James Aspey grabbed global attention in 2015 after completing a year long vow of silence and speaking for the first time in a powerful TV interview seen by tens of millions of people. His first words were a plea stop the enslavement and slaughter of animals; the helpless and innocent victims of our choices. He has been tattooed for 25 hours to raise donations for charity and given hundreds of free, thought provoking lectures on his journey from being an apathetic meat eater to a passionate animal rights advocate. His speeches have reached tens of millions of people. He travels the world educating on the streets and in universities, uploading consistently online and has helped many people to make the connection that our world will be a better place when we align our values of non-violence, peace and respect with our actions by going vegan.

Ed Winters - better known as Earthling Ed - is a highly influential animal rights activist whose YouTube channel focuses on educating viewers on the merits of veganism primarily through street interviews. He is co-founder of the grassroots animal rights organisation Surge, which launched in 2016. Surge released the documentary 'Land of Hope and Glory' in 2017, and organises the annual Official Animal Rights March which is now a global event and the largest event of its kind in the UK. In 2018, Ed and his partner Luna opened Unity Diner, a non-profit restaurant with all proceeds going back into Surge to fund wider reaching campaigns.

Akala is an British rapper, journalist, author, poet and political activist. Originally from Kentish Town, London, he is the younger brother of rapper/vocalist Ms. Dynamite. In 2006, he was voted the Best Hip Hop Act at the MOBO Awards, and was awarded an honourary doctorate by the University of Brighton in 2018. He has performed at various festivals, including V Festival, Wireless, Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds Festival and Parklife, has given guest lectures at various universities and has spoken at the Oxford Union.

Matt Pritchard is a Welsh professional skateboarder, stunt performer, online Chef and one quarter of the Dirty Sanchez crew, who had their own television programme on MTV and also appeared on Balls of Steel with Michael Locke as the Pain Men. Pritchard is the founder of Dirty Sanchez along with Lee Dainton. He became vegan in 2015 and now has his own plant based cooking channel on YouTube.

He served on the Nutrition and Preventive Medicine Task Force of the American Medical Student Association (AMSA), where he is a member of its Board of Advisors. He's an author of books such as "Vegan Nutrition: Pure and Simple" and "Pregnancy, Children, and the Vegan Diet". He has appeared in several films related to vegan diet and practice, including Eat This, Cowspiracy and What the Health.

Zak Abel, is a Moroccan-English singer, songwriter and musician. He has also released two extended plays, entitled Joker presents Zak Abel and One Hand on the Future. In 2016, he worked with producers such as Kaytranada and Wookie on his debut album, Only When We're Naked, which was released in October 2017, and debuted at number 100 on the UK Albums Chart. He was signed by Atlantic Records. The first single was 'Unstable' which has since been streamed over 36 million times on Spotify alone to date. The track received massive support on UK Radio, being playlisted on both Radio 1 and Radio 1 Xtra.

Shikari Sound System is the Electronic alter-ego of English rock band Enter Shikari. Enter Shikari formed in St Albans, England in 1999 by bassist Chris Batten, lead vocalist and keyboardist Roughton "Rou" Reynolds, and drummer Rob Rolfe. Their debut studio album, Take to the Skies, was released in 2007 and reached number 4 in the Official UK Album Chart, and has since been certified gold in the UK. Their second, Common Dreads, was released in 2009 and debuted on the UK Albums Chart at number 16; while their third, A Flash Flood of Colour, was released in 2012 and debuted on the chart at number 4. Both have since been certified silver in the UK. Their fifth studio album The Spark was released in 2017.

Alex Hershaft is an American animal rights activist and Holocaust survivor. He is the co-founder and president of the Farm Animal Rights Movement (FARM), America's oldest (1976) organization devoted exclusively to promoting the rights of animals not to be killed for food. He is the founder of World Day for Farmed Animals, Meatout, and the U.S. national animal rights conferences. He is writing a book about the history of the U.S. animal rights movement and the changing nature of vegan advocacy. Previously, Alex gained a Ph.D. in chemistry and had a 30-year career in environmental consulting and religious freedom movements.

Jon Venus is a public figure most known for his YouTube channel where he focuses his efforts to spread information regarding fitness, nutrition and lifestyle content in an uplifting and entertaining way. His main channel, which has amassed 340K subscribers, and over 28 million video views, mainly focuses on vegan meal prep/recipes, workouts and food challenges. His second channel the 'Jon Venus Podcast' is more focused on discussions about the ethics of veganism. He has been dubbed one of the 'world's hottest vegans'.

Brett Cobley (EpiVegan) first set up EpiVegan as an Instagram page in March 2016 to show that vegan food could be tasty, vibrant and desirable to vegans and non vegans alike. He has since amassed over 70,000 followers on Instagram. His YouTube channel was created in December 2016, where he interviews and cooks for vegan influencers such as Lucy Watson (Made in Chelsea), Harry Kirton (Peaky Blinders), Tim Shieff and Rou Reynolds (Enter Shikari).

Juliet Gellatley is the founder and director of Viva!, which launched in 1994 and is the biggest vegan charity in Europe. She instigated the first Vegan Festivals over a decade ago which have mushroomed into events across Britain.
